Back in the day, when boy bands were popular, Caleb Sayre rocked his heart out to upbeat songs about getting the girl and having fun partying.  Of course this all changed when the band started having problems.  Caleb had never been one to want to stick around for drama when he could just as easily run from it.  Before the band even dissolved, Caleb dropped out from it as well as near dropped the face of the Earth.  No one had contact with him, knew where he was, or even what he was doing.

It was in this year of traveling and ‘self-exploring’ that Caleb had formed a new band, a new sound, and had produced an album that had sold off the charts almost instantly; for a group that no one even knew what they looked like except the producers.   The sound was something completely different than what Caleb had made in the past; something less boy pop bop and more of something of a mature level that adults would like more than thirteen year old girls. 

After the first album was produced in Los Angeles and put out into the charts, the band relocated itself to New York City and publically came out as the group “Liar’s Revenge” – putting faces to the sound that had put a few songs out there that topped the charts almost instantaneously.

Since they had placed themselves in New York, Caleb had a few loose ends that had needed to be tied up as well as friendships to mend; such as his friendship with Mel.  He had left her behind without so much as a word to where he had been going or that he was even leaving.  They weren’t exactly together beforehand, but they had been close, and Caleb had considered her a close friend.  Of course he had hell to pay with her to make up for just dropping off the face of Earth. 

Time however does have a way of fixing itself.  This was exactly what had happened.  Things seemed to settle down for the most part.  The music was steady, friendships were lasting, and Caleb and Mel eventually were married; and with babies on the way.  At least that was until one of the band members for Liar’s Revenge dropped; in the middle of getting ready to finish an album and tour no less.  Rumors were that in the past said band member and Caleb in the past.  Unfortunately these rumors were true, and because it was essentially Caleb’s fault that the band couldn’t continue in what they were working on; the Record Label slapped a lawsuit on him. 

Skylar, which was one of Caleb’s closest friends at the time, had went behind Caleb’s back and took on the band’s name as his own, including the lawsuit.  Skylar already had debts of his own and just claimed bankruptcy, and in the process, saved Liar’s Revenge from dissolving into nothing.  Caleb was pissed, but also completely grateful to what his friend had done for him and the band.  Of course thanks to the bankruptcy, Caleb also knew that Skylar’s life was going to be extremely hard in living situations, so he had insisted the man move in with him and Mel.  They were friends, they were close, and it just felt right.  Besides, the trio had a few skeletons of their own in their closet that they refused to let out into the public view.  There was far more between the trio than they would let on or admit to.
